FOB led 3-0 after 10 minutes, but then appeared to lose interest, even when trailing 8-3 after half an hour. The students wracked up six tries for an easy win to cement third place.
The Varsity backs saw a lot of ball, five of the tries went to the backs, getting good ball off the lineouts and the ruck and maul ball turned over by Varsity loosies Josh Bradnock and James Oakes. Varsity eventually took all four Turbos players off, but it didn't stop the team clapping on 24 points in the second half, also driving a long way off lineouts against a big pack. FOB kept making mistakes, didn't chance its arm, nor did it kick the ball and just shovelled bad ball on.
