TurbosThe All Blacks showed against the Wallabies last Saturday how vital it will be for the budding Manawatu NPC team to have a rock-solid scrum.

Turbos' coach Dave Rennie will be praying Manawatu's eight holds up against Hawke's Bay's at McLean Park, Napier, at 6pm tomorrow because he doesn't have anyone in reserve.

There are hookers aplenty and good depth at lock but there's a dearth of experienced, hard-nosed props, and injuries and illnesses are complicating things.

Many of the rep players have been ravaged by flu including tighthead prop Sam Moore who was vomiting at training on Tuesday. He will travel to Napier but would hardly seem to be match ready.

Manawatu Turbos:

15 Fraser Murray, 14 Siaosi Anamani, 13 Johnny Leota, 12 Eddie Hei Hei, 11 Leon Lubbe, 10 Frank Bryant, 9 Aaron Good; 8 Bertus Mulder, 7 Josh Bradnock, 6 Nick Crosswell, 5 Lisiate Fa'aoso, 4 Hayden Triggs, 3 Talau Hala, 2 Rob Foreman, 1 Aidan Nicols. Reserves: Tim Faleafaga, Alex Waite, Nathan Kemp, Sam Moore, Daniel Alofa, Paul Rodgers; Simeli Tuiteci, David Palu.
