Varsity ease past Feilding Print E-mail

IF there is a question in club rugby which needs answering, it is: What's wrong with Feilding Old Boys?
Ten of its players on Saturday had featured in the rep trial last Wednesday and yet they were well beaten by the resurgent Kia Toa at Arena Manawatu.

Currently they are rep prospects but if their minds are elsewhere, many are effectively playing their way out of contention.

Only five-eighth Graham Smith, who's looking fit and sharp this season, and perhaps Fijian wing Simeli Tuiteci, looked anything liked rep players on Saturday.

It was FOB's third successive loss after starting as the competition favourite.
