Kia Toa's resurgence is for real. Just ask College Old Boys, who were happy to walk away from their clash on Saturday with a 15-all draw. In the post-mortems, many argued that a draw was fitting. But Kias scored the only two tries of the game and had another one, a close call, disallowed. When Kia Toa gets more resilient and battle-hardened, it won't be satisfied with a draw just because it was against a reigning Hankins Shield champion which doesn't know how to give up. Coach Dean Wilson revealed afterwards: "The boys aren't gutted. They also know they let themselves down."
